Internet Information Transfer:

Because, contractually, there are multiple independent 3rd-party technology companies, not owned and/or operated by us, involved in getting our data to you (our customer), there are four (4) types of Errors & Omissions (''Mistakes'') that may occur in the Internet Information Transfer process: (1) Latency, (2) Deletion, (3) Alteration, and (4) Switching. These mistakes can affected any information, including, but not limited to inventory count and product prices, specifications, and availability:

  1. Data Latency:
    This is simply the delays that may occur between systems and Internet servers as they connect with each other to transfer our data. This latency may cause our in-house computer system to have data (e.g. inventory and pricing information) that may be different from what you see at our Websites, Apps, or Digital Content. For example: a product may be sold, today, but this website will not immediately reflect that sale until a few days from now when the data is successfully transferred to the ROGEE online server where the Website, App, or Digital Content is hosted.
  2. Data Deletion:
    As local systems and Internet servers connect with each other to transfer data, it is possible for data deletions and data corruption to happen when interruptions in Internet connections and systems failures occur in the middle of the data transfer process.
  3. Data Alteration:
    Sometimes, the data gets altered as it is transferred from one 3rd party system to another 3rd party system before it is eventually shown at our Websites, Apps, or Digital Content. For example: a product may be identified by a universal manufacturer-based or federally-based identification number (e.g. VIN, Model Code, Product ID, MLSid, StockNO, etc.). Because each 3rd party vendor may interpret the ID number differently, we have seen erroneous alterations occur in the data transfer process among 3rd parties.
  4. Data Switching:
    In general, our data is stored and/or processed in spreadsheet-like format with rows and columns. It has happened in the past that columns are switched as the data is transferred from one 3rd party system to another 3rd party system. Database or data file column switching can, for example, cause prices and other information to be wrong at our website.

Computerized Data Processing:

Now-a-days, it is impossible to do business in our technologically advanced society without using computers from various manufacturers and software developers. The data in the computer must be entered by humans. The software is used by humans. And because it is ''human to err,'' there are many cases in which a piece of information may be wrong or missing due to human error. Thank you for your understanding and willingness to work with us to fix any such data processing errors you may find our at our Websites, Apps, or Digital Content.

For example, if the first 5 items of a particular product are priced at $20,000 each, but the 6th item of the same product is priced at $200, then you can be sure that the 6th item's price is wrong due to human error, which may have occurred during the data-entry process. Contractually, most original equipment manufacturers and some State laws prohibit pricing a product below a certain price to protect the market and consumers. This is known as ''Minimum Advertised Pricing.'' So even if the website state ''DISCOUNTS'' or ''SPECIAL OFFERS,'' the 6th item at $200, down from $20,000 is definitely an error. Please always verify peculiar discounts and product prices with our team.

CURRENT OFFERS AND INCENTIVES:
Some of our products and/or services may have time-based (day, week, month, year) offers and incentives that expire at a specified item. Due to Internet Information Transfer latency (computer errors) described previously and/or due to Computerized Data Processing issues (human errors), you may see an expired offer at our Websites, Apps, or Digital Content. Contractually, expired offers and incentives cannot be honored passed their valid date. Contact us for new and current offers and incentives.

Notify Us of Errors & Omissions:

We encourage you to notify us to help us correct any data at our Websites, Apps, or Digital Content that you may deem erroneous or missing at the time of your viewing of the content. If the data is, in fact, erroneous or missing, we will make the appropriate corrections; but if not, we will provide you with available technical information as to the status of the data.
